Welcome to Travel Things on Point! I’m Meri, and I’m thrilled to have you join me on my travel adventures.
One of the unique aspects of my travel story is that it often involves three generations – my spirited senior mom (Nana), my middle school son, and me, the avid planner and storyteller. Together, we embark on a quest to explore the world, and celebrate our shared experiences along the way.
As a travel enthusiast, I find immense joy in the art of planning. I love the research involved in crafting itineraries which consider the diverse needs of my travel crew and I find the ‘before the trip’ enhances the magic of the journey.
Multi-generational travel has taught me to appreciate the richness of each moment and to see the world through the eyes of both the young and the young at heart.
Whether it’s navigating train travel, riding in a pedicab, discovering historical gems, or finding great local food, our travels are filled with shared laughter, mishaps, learning, and love.
Through this blog, I invite you to join us on our escapades, as we explore the world and share insights on how to make travel a fulfilling experience for every age group. I’m committed to dishing out tips for family travel and for folks with low mobility. Because let’s face it, everyone deserves the chance to catch the travel bug, no matter what pace they’re moving at.
So, buckle up! Adventure awaits!
